Foreword
Safety remains one of our top priorities and, most certainly, one of yours as well. We implement the strictest security procedures recognized worldwide in terms of data security. In the interest of pure transparency, we have also contracted with a completely independent and impartial external company a review of our security and perform a "vulnerability scan" to detect any possible flaws. We are therefore proud to offer you a simple, fast and above all secure platform with our partner Groupe Access, a Montreal company specializing in computer security. What is a vulnerability scan?
In IT security, a vulnerability scan is a technique used by computer specialists to identify possible vulnerabilities in an application, operating system or network by attempting to penetrate it. They identify possible flaws and draw up a report on the corrective measures to be taken if necessary.Who has access to my data?
Only the expert who takes care of the production of your tax reports has access to your sensitive data such as your social insurance number. Each folder is separate. Why don't you ask for the social insurance number in your questions?
Still for a matter of security, you will notice that your social insurance number is not asked anywhere in the questionnaire or the identification form, although it is necessary to produce your tax reports. The expert in charge will recover it directly from the tax slips provided. This adds another aspect of security since the documents are kept in a separate database and are blocked once the file is finished. You will therefore not find your social insurance number listed anywhere in your client portal.
